Calling all 1Ls! Register now for the D.C. Bar Law Student Community’s Judicial Clerkship Bootcamp, a curated program designed to expose law students to clerking as a career option. Participants will learn about the various types of judges, courts, clerks, and clerkship opportunities available during and after law school. Students will receive an overview of the federal and state application processes and learn directly from a judge what they look for in hiring a clerk, what type of work a clerk actually does, and how current law students can best prepare themselves to be competitive applicants.
Keynote Presentation by
The Honorable Philip A. Medley
Magistrate Judge, Superior Court of the District of Columbia
The 2024 Judicial Clerkship Bootcamp was held virtually on April 12, 2024. Click below to watch the recording!
Please Note: This program is geared towards 1Ls but law students of all levels are welcome to attend. Registration is free for all law students. To learn more and join the LSC, click here.
